Blue Goose Inn

The Blue Goose Inn is a historic building that was built in 1911. The Blue Goose Inn is best for trail riders looking for a comfortable and affordable place to spend the night after a long day on the trails.

There are rooms for groups as well as rooms for two. There is also a coal miner’s den, which connects four rooms together, each room sleeping up to four people.

Satellite television and wireless Internet are provided to all guests. There is also truck/trailer and secure ATV parking with every Blue Goose Inn suite rental.

Hatfield and McCoy Resort

The Hatfield-McCoy Resort provides a comfortable and relaxing stay for a trip to Matewan.

You can relax in the courtyard outside or mingle in the attached restaurant, Wingo’s Grill. The rooms lead to a back street observation deck above the courtyard with views of scenic mountains, the Matewan Floodwall, and the Buffalo Mountain ATV Trail Head. If you're visiting to ride the Hatfield and McCoy Trails, complimentary parking for trucks and ATV trailers is available. For lodging, there are suites that sleep six comfortably and smaller rooms, which sleep three to four.

Outback ATV Cabin Rentals is located on the Buffalo Mountain Trail and offers an exciting and adventurous visit to Matewan.

The cabins sleep 4-6 comfortably and are about 200 yards from the trail entrance. They also provide parts and accessories for ATVs.
